ASCONA GUIDE

Ascona one of the most beautiful towns in the Canton of Ticino, Switzerland. The Canton of Ticino is a large region that is 100% italian. Before it became part of Switzerland it was part of Italy. The main language is Italian and the food is completely Italian except for the fondue with paste if you try it let me know what you think. Ascona is a very unique place its a small town of a few thousand people and is a bus ride away from Locarno its sister town. Ascona is located on Lake Maggiore and you can see Italy from the docks. The town is so small that you can see it in an hour, its full of winding streets that have cafes, restaurants. The main attraction is the board walk that connects the entire town. If you get a chance to visit the Canton of Ticino dont miss out on this historical little town!
